In addition to civilians, the Bravehearts and Veerangana hostels for boys and girls house about 100 sons and daughters of the martyred, disabled and serving and retired Indian Defense Services and Paramilitary forces soldiers. In 1987, Summerfield School was founded as it was believed that there was a need to create a CBSE affiliated institution in a rural area that would provide quality public school pattern education.
In 2012, the school celebrated 25 years of its life proudly. 20 batches of students from Class X and 8 batches of students from Class 12 passed out successfully giving laurels to this institution.
